New Baby Brother and December Centers

Lauren has a baby brother!

We loved celebrating with cupcakes!  Thanks, Lauren!  We are so happy for you!

Today, we made Christmas trees and reindeer for our ceiling!

We also played in our new December centers.

Christmas puppets!

 

Wrapping presents and placing them under the tree!

Writing letters to Santa Claus and sending them in our mailbox!

Digging in the snow with shovels to find treats!

Making Christmas cookies with play dough!

Playing games!

and painting pictures with red and green paint.

We have so many exciting activities planned for these next 3 weeks. I can’t wait to have more fun tomorrow!

Grandparents Day

What a fun day with our grandparents! The kids looked adorable in their turkey feathers.

Thanks, Grandparents, for coming! We hope you enjoyed our songs, video, snacks, and quilt making.

I'll make sure everyone gets a grandparent/grandchild picture. I will also have the "We Love Our Grandparents" DVD available in the Class Books buckets for you to borrow. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

Getting Ready…

We spent our day getting ready for Grandparents Day!  The kids practiced all their songs, made a video about why they love their grandparents, and even made turkey cookies!

Happy Birthday, Charles Schulz!

The birthday of Charles Schulz, the man who drew the Peanuts, is on Thanksgiving!  We decided to celebrate!

The Preschool Peanuts began their day with coloring fun Peanuts pictures.

After coloring and watching “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving”, we voted on our favorite Peanuts characters!

We also decorated a birthday poster for Mr. Schulz…

…and ate Snoopy birthday cake for snack!

In our afternoon class, Emma’s sister and mom came to read to us.
