Four + Water = Messy Messy Fun!
We made paper mache dino eggs today! We believe they might be magical…we’ll see what happens when they are dried and painted!
We also made lambs today for our March bulletin board.
And Jack read a funny book about Bugs!
Did you know dinosaurs laid eggs?
We counted dinosaur eggs and made graphs today! The kids read the color words, counted the eggs, and graphed all on their own! I was so impressed!
Yesterday, we talked all about the letter T. We made Thumbprints into cute animals and bugs!
How cute!
We had a footprint mold of a dinosaur in our very own classroom on Friday!
We estimated how many of our shoes would fit inside a dino’s footprint. Our guesses ranged from 20 – a Zillion!
After some pretty hard thinking, we decided we could double the amount of shoes we already had in the print to figure it out. About 64 shoes will fit in one dino print!!!
Did you know an Apatosaurus was 90 feet long? That’s from Isaiah all the way to Erin at the other end of the hall!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! See you tomorrow!
We have learned so much about Dinosaurs this week. We discussed the job of paleontologists and pretended to be them in our rice table center.
We all have new dinosaur names, too! Hi Reeceasaurus! Here are our kids pretending to be dinosaurs.
And because our pictures from earlier this week made me laugh so hard, I had to take some more!
Tomorrow we’ll find out just how big a dinosaur foot print was!!!
We are the dinosaurs, marching, marching!! We learned this song today and had a blast acting it out. Thanks, Sam, for bringing it in!
WHOA! Annika, watch out!
Oh, no, Kimmy! Is that a T-Rex in our classroom?!?!?!?
Isaiah!!!!!!!
I don’t know about you, but these pictures crack me up!
We had so much fun playing with dinosaurs today.
Check out our young paleontologists!
I look forward to more dinosaur adventures tomorrow!
We started our day by making Valentine bracelets!
We watched the Charlie Brown Valentine movie and read some fun Valentine stories. Then the kids opened the Valentines they received from their friends!
All of the kids were so excited! It was like Christmas all over again!
My camera ran out of batteries, so I didn’t get pictures of the afternoon class opening their Valentines:( I’m so sad! But I’ll make sure I get some GREAT pictures of the afternoon class during our Dinosaur Unit starting next week! Our room is all decorated for DINOSAURS! Enjoy your 3 day weekend and I’ll see you all on Tuesday!
Today we decorated envelopes for our Valentines tomorrow:). We had so much fun using the dauber paint!
James and Jack played in our new cardboard box house.
And Conner and Sam played in the volcano with Conner’s show-and-tell items!!
I’m so excited for our Valentine Party tomorrow!
We had a blast at our Pajama Party!
First, the kids had to search for their stuffed animals. Can you believe our animals came alive at night!?
We played while Mrs. Chaney made pancakes for us!
Conner helped stir.
Yummy oranges!
Yummy, yummy pancakes!
Too much fun!!!
