Leprechaun Mischief

A leprechaun came into our room last night…

…and left traces of mischief everywhere!

He destroyed our traps…

But left us goodies! So we forgive him.

Leprechaun Gems! 

These usually disappear when touched by a human Pre-K kid, but lucky us!  We have evidence of leprechaun existence!

Did someone leave his pants behind? And his shoes?! 

Yes, I’m just as shocked as these little ladies.  I guess those windows are difficult to maneuver through.

Wow!  James’ mom made these BEAUTIFUL rainbow cupcakes with clouds on top!

Here we all are…the happy group who didn’t catch a leprechaun, but still had lots of fun trying.

Leprechaun Traps!

Have you ever tried to catch a leprechaun?  We read today that if we catch one, we get to keep his pot of gold. Our Peanuts worked hard to make the perfect traps!

We also read a book about a leprechaun’s rainbow…

…and drew what would be at the end of OUR rainbow.

Our plants are growing!

Fire House!

We went to the fire house today!  I hope you enjoy the pictures.  We sure had fun learning all about fire trucks and fire fighters.

Flower Colors

Our Peanuts are so good at reading their color words! 

Each page of the book we made today had a color word that the kids had to read. Then they colored the flower that color! 

I’m so impressed with what our Peanuts can read!  Here are our plants.  No growth that we can see yet, but we’re sure they’ll sprout as long as we give them what they need to grow!

Growing Flowers

We are so much like flowers!  We need water and food to grow, and we need to play in the sun! Today, we each planted our own flowers.

Jered is Snoopy’s Student this week, so his dad came to read to us!

New Spring Centers!

We are starting a new unit on everything spring!  Bugs, butterflies, flowers, etc…

 

Kids can play bug activities at Marcie’s Math Center…

Color spring pictures at Franklin’s Art Center…

And practice writing spring words at Woodstock’s Writing Center.

Of course, the Peanuts can still play at rice…

and play at Peppermint Patty’s Play Place, Play dough, and Paint.

We also have a new, fun Charlie Brown’s Blocks Center!  We love spring:)

Dinomite Party

We had a blast playing with our dinosaur toys and coloring dino pictures.

We also did the Dinosaur March with dino feet.

Next week, we start our spring unit!!!
