We got all the goop out of Nunchucks and Punky Punk today!

We found lots of seeds!




It was so much fun!

Pumpkin Circle

Today, we watched a movie called "Pumpkin Circle." It's one of Mrs. Croxford's favorites...all about how pumpkins grow!

Mrs. B's 1st grade class came to sing and say poems! We loved it!

Mrs. Rice came and read us Enemy Pie. We even got to taste some!

Adopt a Pumpkin

Each class adopted a pumpkin today!

The kids came up with a lot of great names, but Nunchucks and Punky Punk were the ones voted on in the end.

We are making treat bags for our Halloween party!

The Letter G

We had great show-and-tells today!


We learned about the letter Gg and drew why our Grandparents are Grand!

We're celebrating Mrs. Sexton's birthday tomorrow. The kids made beautiful pictures for her!


And these girls made a cake!

New Halloween Centers

We had lots of fun show-and-tell items this week!

On Wednesday, we wrote our own Halloween story!

Today, we described the differences and similarities of apples and pumpkins.

The kids did a great job using descriptive words!

This is our new “Rice” center. 

 

Ewww! Spiders!

The Peanuts can make pumpkins, candy corn, or black cats at the art center.

We have a new game at the math center.

See how many times your bean bag lands on each Halloween picture!

We have a new spooky story in the listening center.

At the Library center, kids can read the special Halloween books!

Sew fall pictures at the game shelf…

Or play with the Trick-or-Treat house!

Make monsters at blocks!

Write Halloween cards to Mom and Dad and decorate them with stickers.

We still have our regular centers:)
