Daddy’s Reading Day was a blast.  Thanks for coming, Dads!

 

After reading with our dads, Lauren’s dad stayed to talk to us about taking care of our teeth!

Dr. Chris is a Dentist!

In the afternoon, Brayden brought his puppy, Maggie, because P is for Puppy!

We all stood in line to pet her!

 

Yes, Emma, I agree.  It really was the best day ever!

Acting out the Alphabet

Today we played a really fun game!  I gave the kids a letter and they said a word that begins with that letter.  Then we acted it out!

Finishing "Community Helpers"

Our Peanuts sure enjoyed our last few days of Community Helper centers.


This morning, Jule had some cute show-and-tell items.

Jered read a really good book this afternoon.

Lily showed us some really neat Barbies during her show-and-tell.

We Know What to Do!

Police Officers help us when we need help! We know to call 911 if we ever have an emergency.

We also know what to do in emergencies at school! Here are our afternoon friends under the tables in an earthquake drill.

We also know to never fear! Our teachers are here!

These boys worked on sorting bugs during centers! How fun!

Construction Workers

We talked about how construction workers help our community!

Then we pretended we were construction workers and built our own buildings!

During centers, a few kids went on to build a castle!
